Keepers of the Gate (Men’s Fellowship)
Galilee Baptist Church has a men’s fellowship group. It is called The Keepers of the Gate. Their purpose is to create an environment where men come together to study God’s word as well as support each other. We accomplish this by utilizing Christian principles of the three “E”’s.
Evangelize: We learn God’s Word and what He would have us to do. We then take that knowledge as disciples who spread the good news and teach the gospel.
Equip: In order to be a good witness for the Lord, It is necessary that you have the proper tools in which to do the job. Sometimes it maybe a scripture form Psalms or a song or sometimes it maybe just a word of encouragement or an ear to listen. Using Christian principles and doctrine and discernment of the spirit.
Empower: We are charged to be our brother’s keeper .It is our duty and joy to be there to lend a helping hand. We must help, us eth gifts that God has given us to lift and encourage other brothers (and sisters) in Christ.
We are only as strong as our weakest link. In Christ, there are no weak links jus brothers and sisters in need of strength that we can provide by using God’s Word and the power of prayer.
Men’s Fellowship also stands as mentors to our younger brother and to our youth. By being solid, strong examples of what it is to be men who live their lives for Christ.
We encourage all men to be parts of our fellowship. We gather together the second Saturday of every month at 9:00a.m. Here at the church. Know that we are praying for you and will delight in the Lord at your presence.
